Summary: The University of Rhode Island is seeking a remote PeopleSoft Developer for a 3-year contract to provide development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for its PeopleSoft environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications for HR, Finance, Payroll, or Campus Solutions.
  • Build, modify, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, SQR, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, and related technologies.
  • Support and execute PeopleTools upgrades, patching, and system migrations (including PALMA upgrades).
  • Work closely with URI business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes through technical solutions, customizations, and enhancements.
  • Participate in unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain thorough technical documentation for all development activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with functional and technical staff across URI.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and service requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with integrations, data conversions, and reporting as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience in at least one major area: HR, Finance, Payroll, or Campus Solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, SQR, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, BI Publisher, and SQL.
  • Experience supporting PeopleTools upgrades, patching, and system migrations (including PALMA upgrades).
  • Excellent customer support, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to work independently or collaboratively as required.

Position Summary

The University of Rhode Island (URI) is seeking an experienced remote PeopleSoft Developer to provide development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for URI s PeopleSoft environments.
