Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the end-to-end migration of PeopleSoft HR applications from one cloud platform to another (e.g., AWS to OCI, Azure to Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
- Perform database cloning, backup/restore, and environment refreshes across dev, test, and prod tiers
- Optimize Oracle database performance, indexing, and tuning for PeopleSoft environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to configure networking, load balancing, and security policies in the target cloud
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and rollback strategies during migration
- Support patching, upgrades, and People Tools version alignment
- Document migration steps, configurations, and post-migration validation procedures
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft DBA, with at least 2 successful cloud migration projects
- Deep expertise in Oracle RDBMS, PeopleSoft HR modules, and People Tools architecture
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
