Summary: The Pensions System Calculation and Data Analyst role involves supporting the Pension & Reward Operations Manager in maintaining and developing the Pensions Administration System (Altair). The position requires assisting with data management, processing, and ongoing support for pension projects, ensuring accuracy in member records and benefit calculations. The analyst will also contribute to the development of workflows and reporting activities related to the UK pension scheme. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this primarily home-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance and development of the pension administration system (Altair) ensuring accuracy of member records and benefit calculations.
  • Assist in the development and testing of pension system workflows, calculations, and letters, including issue resolution and software updates.
  • Carry out monthly reconciliations of payroll and HR files to maintain the pension administration system.
  • Work on data projects with the Pensions & Reward Operations Manager, ensuring timely data provision in specified formats.
  • Assist in the production of regular interfaces to external suppliers and resolve processing queries.
  • Ensure all member records are updated correctly and support annual membership movement and contribution reconciliations.
  • Produce management information within agreed timescales.
  • Take on additional duties as reasonably instructed within the employee's skills and abilities.
