Summary: The Pensions Administrator role focuses on managing final salary and career average pension schemes within a New Client Implementation Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Translating complex scheme rules into calculation specifications for development teams
- Pension administration system configuration
- Conducting gap analysis against scheme requirements
- Drafting detailed calculation logic and Excel-based specifications
- Creating test plans, scenario matrices, and test scripts
- Preparing test data and executing comprehensive testing
- Logging and triaging defects, supporting resolution activities
- Producing high-quality test evidence and documentation
- Supporting UAT, system smoke testing, and warranty assurance
- Producing user guides to support operational rollout
- Strong experience with final salary and career average (CARE) schemes
- Ability to interpret and document complex scheme rules
- Skilled in performing and validating retirement, early leaver, death, and other scheme calculations
- Understanding of public sector pension schemes, Legacy benefits, and nuances (highly desirable)
- Experience configuring or developing pension administration platforms (eg, ProFund, Access)
- Ability to convert scheme rules into accurate calculation specifications
- Strong Excel capability for modelling and testing
- Familiarity with end-to-end pensions administration processes
- Public sector experience is highly sought after and in short supply, and candidates with this background are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are recruiting an experienced Pensions Administrator to join a busy New Client Implementation Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong pensions administration and calculation expertise to support the setup, configuration, and testing of automated processes for new and existing schemes.
You will play a key part in implementing and validating new client schemes on pensions administration systems.
Responsibilities include:
Configuration & Specification
- Translating complex scheme rules into calculation specifications for development teams
