Summary: The role is for a CHECK Team Leader or CHECK Team Member specializing in Infrastructure Penetration Testing within a Cyber Security Testing environment for a public sector client. The position is fully remote with occasional client visits to specific locations in the UK. Candidates must hold or be eligible for SC Security Clearance and will be responsible for penetration testing and mentoring team members. The role offers a competitive daily rate outside of IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing within the Cyber Security Team.
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to team members.
- Work in an SC Security Cleared environment.
- Engage in occasional client visits to Manchester or Newcastle upon-Tyne.
Key Skills:
- CSTL or CSTM certification (NCSC) - essential.
- Previous experience in penetration testing for public sector or critical national infrastructure (CNI) systems and networks.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS.
- Experience with on-prem infrastructure, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
