Summary: The Pega Lead Developer role focuses on developing and configuring PEGA PRPC applications, particularly in the context of Medicaid and government benefit programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure PEGA PRPC applications using PEGA best practices.
- Implement workflows and case management features to support eligibility determination, enrollment, and member management.
- Translate business requirements into functional PEGA rules, flows, and UI components.
- Integrate PEGA with external systems via SOAP/REST APIs, connectors, services, queues, MQ, and databases.
- Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing cycles.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Senior Developers to ensure alignment with overall solution design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to align delivery with project goals.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5-8 years in PRPC development.
- Certified Pega CSA or CSSA (2019 and before).
- Experience in eligibility and enrollment systems (e.g., Medicaid, ACA marketplace, CHIP).
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega Case management, File Listener, Job Scheduler, Activities, Data Transforms, Flows, and UI Rules.
- Knowledge of BPM concepts, workflows, and case lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with cloud deployments (PEGA Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Prior experience in Government healthcare modernization projects.

- Develop and configure PEGA PRPC applications using PEGA best practices. Well aware of Pega guardrails and coding standards and should be able to present the best quality code
- Hands on experience with PEGA rules, data pages, activities, decisioning, cases types and UI development
- Strong knowledge of BPM concepts, workflows and case lifecycle management
