Summary: The role of PCB Design Engineer – LibrePCB involves leading electronic design projects using LibrePCB, from schematic creation to manufacturing outputs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end electronic design in LibrePCB from schematic creation to final manufacturing outputs.
- Document design strategies, electrical reasoning, and layout decisions to support AI model training.
- Create, manage, and organize component libraries and footprints with high accuracy.
- Apply PCB layout strategies including efficient component placement and trace routing.
- Perform design rule checks, verification, and troubleshooting for optimal performance.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation including Gerber and drill files.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining clear communication throughout projects.
