Payroll Specialist

Summary: The Payroll Specialist role involves assisting a customer in transitioning their payroll processes from SAP to Oracle Cloud solutions. The position requires expertise in both SAP and Oracle Payroll systems and will primarily be remote. The role is classified as inside IR35 and is offered on a contract basis starting in July.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse SAP payroll processes and translate them into business and functional requirements for Oracle HR and Payroll.
• Work with functional leads to map current SAP processes to Oracle processes.
• Collaborate with the SI team to review SAP configuration, integration, reporting, and data migration needs.
• Support functional leads by answering queries related to SAP payroll processes, calculation rules, and data mapping.
• Participate in design sessions, including data migration and calculation rule discussions.
• Help create specifications for Oracle Reports based on existing SAP reporting and assist with SAP report generation.
• Support UAT and PPR testing from an SAP perspective, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Advise on payroll legislation and HMRC requirements during design and migration.

Key Skills:

• Experience with SAP and Oracle Payroll solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to translate payroll processes into functional requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional leads and technical teams.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
