Freelancer Club is a systems-change organisation building the infrastructure for modern work. We are embedding freelancing into education, policy, and culture so independent careers are recognised, legitimate, and sustainable. In addition to designing the building blocks for freelancers to thrive, we support thousands of creative and independent professionals through meaningful work, advocacy, and training. We're on the lookout for someone who deeply resonates with that mission - someone who believes in the power of connection, community, and opportunity.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a UK-based early-stage freelancer with an outgoing, people-first personality to help us build meaningful relationships across a range of sectors including education, corporate and sport. This is a remote role , but you’ll spend a significant part of your time attending events across the UK and occasionally abroad , representing Freelancer Club with warmth, curiosity and energy. You must have a valid passport and be comfortable travelling throughout the year. Start date: January/February 2026 .

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Attend events, panels, meetups and conferences (UK + international)
• Start conversations, spark connections and represent our mission with confidence
• Build relationships with partners, universities and organisations
• Create simple but powerful content (short videos, photos, snippets) that captures key moments and feeds into our inbound marketing
• Spot opportunities, follow up with contacts and nurture relationships
• Log conversations, track interactions and stay organised between events

WHAT YOU BRING

• A naturally outgoing, people-focused personality (10/10 communicator)
• A sense of adventure, travel and a genuine love for meeting people and connecting them
• Comfort creating simple content in your office or on the go (phone-ready)
• Rudimentary understanding of inbound marketing (or eagerness to learn)
• Strong organisation and follow-through
• Ability to confidently represent a mission-led organisation

BONUS (NOT ESSENTIAL)

• Existing contacts in education or corporate sectors
• Experience planning, organising or supporting events
