Part- Time Mainframe developer/ QA Tester

Summary: The role is for a Part-Time Mainframe Developer/QA Tester on a long-term contract basis, primarily focused on remote work. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis and testing as a QA Tester.
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and Java on the mainframe.
• Utilize DB2 for data management and integration.
• Implement schema changes and manage data processes using REXX.
• Collaborate with team members on integration planning and strategy.
• Prepare documentation and reports using Microsoft Office.

Key Skills:

• Hands-on experience as a Data Analyst.
• Proficiency in DB2 and COBOL.
• 7-9 years of experience in Java on the mainframe.
• 4-6 years of experience with Easytrieve connecting to DB2.
• 10 years of experience with IBM CICS z/OS.
• 4-6 years of experience with PanValet.
• 7-9 years of experience with REXX on mainframe.
• 7-9 years of experience with schema changes for DB2 z/OS.
• 4-6 years of experience with Sort, SyncSort, ICETOOL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office.
