Summary: The role of Palantir Architect involves leading the design and implementation of scalable Palantir Foundry solutions, focusing on data integration, governance, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure Palantir Foundry solutions covering ontology modeling, data pipelines, and workflows.
- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation pipelines using PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and TypeScript. Develop interactive applications and dashboards using Workshop, Quiver, Slate.
- Integrate diverse data sources (structured, semi, unstructured), ensure data quality, lineage, and establish access controls and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, NERC, FERC).
- Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in pipelines and applications; enforce best practices for scalability, reliability, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists to capture requirements and define solutions. Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to proposals/RFPs, technical estimates, client presentations. Stay updated on Foundry advancements; guide adoption and participate in code reviews.
