Summary: The OSS Project Manager role focuses on leading the delivery of network projects with an emphasis on OSS. The successful candidate will coordinate across various teams and departments, ensuring effective project management and alignment with corporate objectives. This position is fully remote and offers a day rate of £450 outside IR35. The role is expected to last for an initial six months, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain integrated project plans that align dependencies across Networks, OSS/BSS, Security, and Enterprise IT.
- Chair working sessions and steering meetings; publish clear progress reports, RAID updates, and milestone tracking.
- Establish and manage a single front-door intake process for technology projects, ensuring prioritisation and stakeholder visibility.
- Oversee the full delivery lifecycle: Design ? Build ? Test ? Deploy, including HLD/LLD sign-off, lab validation, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
- Manage vendor and third-party partners.
- Work with PMO to align all Network and IT projects with corporate objectives and delivery timelines.
- Drive delivery quality through consistent project frameworks (PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL).
- Support the build-out of scalable OSS/BSS architecture (aligning to TM Forum/ODA frameworks).

- Strong Telco experience.
- Deep experience operating within an OSS environment.
