Summary: The Origami Claims Integration Lead / Technical Architect is responsible for designing and delivering integration solutions for the Origami Risk Claims platform. This role requires extensive experience in technical architecture, API design, and the insurance claims lifecycle. The ideal candidate will lead integration efforts, ensuring seamless connectivity with core enterprise systems while adhering to security and compliance standards. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the integration architecture for Origami Claims implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end integration blueprints.
  • Establish reusable integration patterns, data mapping standards, and security frameworks.
  • Lead the development and delivery of APIs, web services, and middleware solutions to connect Origami with external systems (Policy, Billing, DMS, Payments, Regulatory).
  • Oversee ETL and data conversion processes from legacy claims platforms into Origami.
  • Ensure proper orchestration, monitoring, and error handling of integration workflows.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to integration developers, data engineers, and QA teams.
  • Conduct design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to validate technical feasibility of requirements.
  • Ensure integrations adhere to enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, performance optimization, and system monitoring strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date architecture documentation and system diagrams.

  • Strong knowledge of the claims lifecycle: FNOL, adjudication, payments, subrogation, litigation, recoveries.
  • Proficiency with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, SQL, ETL tools, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience integrating Origami with Policy Admin, Billing, DMS, Payment Processors, and Regulatory systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud deployment models and security best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

We are seeking an experienced Origami Claims Integration Lead / Technical Architect to design, lead, and deliver integration solutions across the Origami Risk Claims platform. This role will play a critical part in shaping the technical architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity between Origami and core enterprise systems such as Policy Administration, Billing, Data Warehouse, Document Management, and Payment Systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Origami Risk integrations, API design, cloud deployment models, and insurance claims lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

  • Define the integration architecture for Origami Claims implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
