Summary: The Oracle WebCenter Site Consultant will lead the migration, integration, and optimization of enterprise digital content systems, specifically transitioning content from Oracle Content Management (OCM) to Oracle WebCenter Sites (WCS). This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and developers to ensure a seamless user experience and effective content governance. The consultant will also be responsible for designing and configuring WCS templates and workflows, as well as providing training and support for content authors. Strong technical expertise in web technologies and Oracle systems is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute migration of digital content from Oracle Content Management (OCM) to Oracle WebCenter Sites (WCS).
- Analyze current OCM architecture, content structure, and workflows to plan for optimal WCS integration.
- Design and configure WCS templates, assets, content models, and publishing workflows.
- Customize and extend WCS functionality using JSP, Java, and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and content creators to ensure content displays effectively across platforms.
- Develop migration scripts/tools or work with ETL tools to transfer content.
- Ensure SEO, accessibility, and performance standards are met post-migration.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and user guides.

- Troubleshoot issues in both OCM and WCS environments.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Oracle WebCenter Sites.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Content Management (OCM).
- Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML, JSON.
- Experience with Oracle WebCenter Sites development (asset models, templates, site plans).
- Understanding of content lifecycle, publishing workflows, and headless content delivery.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and RESTful web services.
