Summary: The role of a Senior Oracle WACS Technical Consultant involves designing scalable Oracle WACS solutions for utility asset management and leading the implementation and integration of these solutions with other Oracle Utility Cloud Applications. The consultant will also support system testing, user training, and ensure smooth deployment while staying updated with Oracle's roadmap. This position is fully remote and requires collaboration with both onsite and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable Oracle WACS solutions to support utility asset lifecycle, maintenance work orders, inspections, and mobile field operations.
  • Lead and guide the implementation, configuration, and integration of WACS with other Oracle Utility Cloud Applications (e.g., CC&B, MDM, NMS) and external systems (e.g., EAM, ERP).
  • Support system testing, user training, and go-live activities; ensure smooth deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Stay current with Oracle roadmap updates for WACS and provide guidance on adoption strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between regional team (onsite) and technical teams.
  • Experience working with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and related integrations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) applications.
  • Define integration patterns using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and middleware tools would add advantage.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle WACS solutions.
  • Implementation and integration skills with Oracle Utility Cloud Applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Ability to define integration patterns using APIs and middleware tools.
  • Strong communication and liaison skills.
