Summary: The Oracle Transportation Management Consultant role involves collaborating with functional consultants and business users to gather technical requirements and develop customizations within Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). The consultant will also be responsible for configuring OTM modules, managing integrations, and troubleshooting technical issues. This position is contract-based and allows for remote work. The role requires interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and support of OTM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather technical requirements.
• Design and develop customizations, reports, and integrations in OTM (Oracle Transportation Management).
• Configure and extend OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Freight Payment, and Rate Management.
• Build and manage OTM integrations with external systems using SOA, BPEL, web services, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Develop and support OTM agents, workflows, automation agents, and business rules.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Support data migration, interface design, and performance tuning.
• Participate in system testing, training, and documentation activities.
• Work with cross-functional teams including supply chain, logistics, and IT.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
• Proficiency in SOA, BPEL, web services, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs.
