Summary: The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is essential for the implementation and evolution of Oracle Fusion Cloud, acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. This role involves capturing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and supporting change management activities. The BSA is responsible for process optimization, system configuration, and ensuring user adoption for Oracle Fusion SCM modules. The position can be performed remotely or locally in Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document SCM business requirements across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, Order Management, and Logistics.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and end-to-end SCM process flows.
  • Partner with solution architects and technical teams to design, configure, and deliver Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
  • Support SCM data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and cutover readiness.
  • Develop and execute SCM test scenarios for SIT, UAT, and regression testing; coordinate defect resolution.
  • Support change management activities, including impact assessments, communications, training materials, and user readiness.
  • Provide go-live and hyper care support to ensure successful adoption.
  • Serve as a functional point of contact for post-go-live SCM support, enhancements, and issue resolution.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in large-scale enterprise system implementations.
  • Demonstrable experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation, specifically across SCM modules, is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with JDE/JDA systems and understanding of their functionalities is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering and optimization.

Job Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a critical role in both the implementation and ongoing evolution of Oracle Fusion Cloud as we transition from legacy JDE/JDA systems. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, the BSA ensures business requirements are accurately captured, translated into functional specifications, and successfully implemented across Oracle Fusion SCM modules. In addition to supporting initial deployment, the BSA will lead and support change management activities associated with ongoing enhancements, system changes, and upgrades, including impact analysis, stakeholder communication, and user readiness.
