Oracle SCM Functional Consultant / Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM (Supply Chain Management) Consultant to drive the solution design, implementation, and optimization of supply chain modules for our prominent high-tech client. The ideal candidate must have a profound understanding of end-to-end semiconductor supply chain processes, coupled with deep functional expertise in either Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud (Fusion) SCM applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams, business planners, and global manufacturing partners to deliver scalable, high-performance supply chain capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Design: Lead business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and end-to-end functional design for complex semiconductor supply chain processes.
• Module Configuration: Configure and maintain Oracle SCM modules including Inventory Management, Order Management, Cost Management, Manufacturing (Discrete/OSM), Product Information Management (PIM), and Supply Chain Planning.
• Integration Management: Design and test complex interfaces and EDI integrations linking Oracle SCM with third-party applications and B2B supplier networks.
• Documentation & Compliance: Author high-quality business requirement documents (BRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD/MD050), test scripts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Testing & Deployment: Orchestrate Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions. Oversee data migration, cutover orchestration, and hypercare support.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside global teams across Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics to align supply chain systems with corporate engineering and financial structures.
• Production Support & Optimization: Resolve high-priority tickets, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on supply chain process bottlenecks, and manage vendor escalations with Oracle Support.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 10+ years of functional consulting experience in Oracle SCM environments (EBS R12 or Fusion Cloud).
• Core Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Order Management, Pricing, Global Order Promising (GOP), Inventory, and Costing.
• Industry Domain: Proven experience working within high-tech, hardware, or semiconductor environments (understanding of wafer fabrication, fabless foundry models, or IC/chip supply chains is highly desirable).
• Technical Interface Skills: Sound understanding of standard database structures, working knowledge of SQL for data validation, and experience handling RICEFW extensions.

Preferred Skills

• Valid Oracle Cloud SCM certifications.
• Exposure to advanced supply chain planning platforms such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Oracle Demantra, or Oracle Cloud ASCP.
• Experience with Oracle Redwood UI transitions and familiarity with embedded AI capabilities within Oracle ERP solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey complex systems solutions to non-technical executive stakeholders.
