Oracle RODS with BICC and BIP Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Oracle RODS (Reporting and Data Strategy) Techno-Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector) and BIP (BI Publisher). The consultant will be responsible for supporting Oracle Cloud reporting, data extraction, integration, and reporting requirements while working closely with functional and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Oracle RODS reporting and data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data extraction processes using BICC.
  • Design and develop reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).
  • Work with Oracle Cloud/Fusion data models and reporting structures.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical reporting and data solutions.
  • Develop SQL queries and troubleshoot data/reporting issues.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Work with functional teams to understand business processes and reporting requirements.
  • Troubleshoot BICC extracts, BIP reports, data issues, and integration-related problems.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and production support.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with Oracle technical, functional, integration, and business teams.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Oracle RODS.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector).
  • Strong experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).
  • Strong SQL and Oracle database/data querying skills.
  • Good understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud data and reporting architecture.
  • Strong techno-functional experience with the ability to understand both business and technical requirements.
  • Experience with report development, data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting and analytics.
  • Knowledge of Oracle integrations and data pipelines.
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale Oracle implementations.
  • Exposure to Oracle SCM, Finance, HCM, or other Fusion modules is a plus.
