Summary: Our client in the construction industry is looking for an experienced Oracle PPM (Project Portfolio Management) Subject Matter Expert to assist with their Oracle Cloud implementation and optimization efforts. The candidate should possess extensive functional expertise in Oracle PPM, particularly within construction operations and project-driven environments. This role involves leading implementations, aligning functionalities with industry requirements, and collaborating with various teams to optimize solutions. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud PPM modules including Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Billing, and Contracts.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of PPM modules.
  • Align Oracle PPM functionalities with construction industry requirements and project accounting best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers, finance, procurement, and field teams to gather requirements and optimize solutions.
  • Support integrations with related Oracle Cloud modules such as Financials, Procurement, and HCM.
  • Provide hands-on testing, training, UAT support, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Document system configurations, process flows, and user guides.

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • Proven experience in construction, engineering, or EPC industries.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, WBS, budgeting, and forecasting in a construction context.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Project Costing, Project Contracts, Project Billing, and Project Financial Planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
