Summary: The Senior Oracle Projects and Contracts Consultant role requires an experienced professional with expertise in Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management, Fixed Assets, Enterprise Contracts, and General Ledger. The consultant will lead end-to-end implementations, manage integrations, and provide post-implementation support while collaborating with various teams to align Oracle Project Accounting with business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end Oracle Cloud PPM implementations, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Project Control modules.
- Configure and support Enterprise Contracts for project-based billing, revenue recognition, and contract management.
- Implement and integrate Fixed Assets with Projects and Financials, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
- Work closely with finance, procurement, and operations teams to align Oracle Project Accounting with business processes.
- Manage integration points between PPM, Contracts, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger.
- Prepare and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and process flow documentation.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, data migration, and user training activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes, project reporting, and reconciliation activities.
- Provide post-implementation support, system enhancements, and process optimization.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud ERP, with at least 3+ years in Oracle Cloud (Fusion).
- Strong functional expertise in Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Enterprise Contracts, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger.
- In-depth understanding of project-centric financial processes, project creation, costing, billing, capitalization, and close.
- Hands-on experience with setup, configuration, and implementation of Project Accounting and related financial modules.
- Experience working with inter-project and inter-company accounting, revenue recognition, and project budgeting.
- Ability to design and review functional solutions, support integrations, and coordinate with technical developers.
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles, subledger accounting (SLA), and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.
