Summary: The role of Oracle OACS Consultant involves leveraging expertise in Oracle BI tools, specifically OBIEE and OAC, to support financial ERP transformation projects. The consultant will design and develop analytical solutions, ensuring data quality and governance while collaborating with finance teams. This position requires a strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to create effective reporting frameworks. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Oracle BI (OBIEE) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Build and maintain semantic/schematic models (RPD, data models, subject areas) aligned with financial ERP data structures (GL, AP, AR, FA, PA etc.).
  • Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Optimize performance of BI reports and dashboards.
  • Integrate OAC with Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion) and other source systems.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across the reporting layer.
  • Participate in UAT, documentation, and training for end-users and finance teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the BI stack including data pipeline, model, and presentation layers.

Key Skills:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle BI (OBIEE) and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Strong understanding of financial ERP modules (especially Oracle Cloud ERP or EBS) – General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, etc.
  • Proven experience in report and dashboard development, including usage tracking, row-level security, and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in semantic model/RPD development and subject area design.
  • Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and understanding of data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
