Oracle NetSuite ERP Functional Consultant

Texas - Remote | Contract

Candidates with strong customer-facing NetSuite implementation experience will be strongly preferred over candidates whose experience is limited to NetSuite administration or production support.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, particularly across Customer Relationship Management (CRM), General Ledger/Financial Management, NetSuite OneWorld, Multi-Currency, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing.

This role requires someone who can understand customer business requirements, translate them into NetSuite solutions, participate in implementations, configure the platform, and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand business processes, requirements, and pain points.
• Participate in and/or lead Oracle NetSuite implementations from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend appropriate NetSuite solutions and best practices.
• Configure and optimize NetSuite modules based on customer requirements.
• Work across Financial Management / General Ledger, CRM, OneWorld, Multi-Currency, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing functionality.
• Gather functional requirements and translate them into detailed NetSuite functional specifications.
• Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution discussions, and user training with customers.
• Support data migration, integration requirements, system testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, workflows, reports, dashboards, and SuiteScript-related requirements.
• Assist customers with business process improvements and NetSuite optimization.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, test scenarios, and training materials.
• Manage multiple customer requirements and implementation activities while maintaining project timelines and quality.
• Provide post-implementation support and help customers maximize the value of their NetSuite environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle NetSuite ERP.
• Strong experience in NetSuite implementation and functional consulting.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers/clients on NetSuite projects.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger / Financial Management processes.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld.
• Strong understanding of Multi-Currency functionality and financial processes.
• Experience with NetSuite CRM.
• Experience with Supply Chain Management processes.
• Experience with Manufacturing / NetSuite Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes and cross-functional integrations.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into NetSuite solutions.
• Experience with configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or participating in multiple end-to-end NetSuite customer implementations.
• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or other relevant NetSuite certifications.
• Experience with NetSuite workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and roles/permissions.
• Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and NetSuite integrations.
• Experience working with third-party applications and integration platforms.
• Experience in process optimization and ERP transformation projects.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
