Summary: The Oracle HCM Technical Consultant role involves providing technical expertise in Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) HCM and supporting the migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud for a major UK Public Sector organization. The position requires hands-on technical support, development of integrations, and troubleshooting of existing systems. The consultant will play a crucial role in the transformation programme, ensuring smooth transitions and enhancements. This is a fully remote position for a 12-month contract starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support across Oracle EBS HCM, particularly Core HR, UK Payroll, and related modules.
- Develop and support integrations, reports, Fast Formulas (FF), SQL/PLSQL, and other technical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across custom objects, workflows, and existing EBS solutions.
- Support performance tuning, form development, and technical enhancements.
- Contribute to the migration path and technical design for the transition from EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Core HR, UK Payroll, and related HCM modules within Oracle EBS.
- Previous involvement in performance tuning and workflow troubleshooting.
- Experience with custom form development and resolving Legacy/complex environments.
- Exposure to or involvement in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM projects.
- Public Sector implementation or support experience is highly desirable.

Overview
A major UK Public Sector organisation is undertaking a significant transformation programme involving the takeover and support of existing Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) systems, alongside a strategic migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultant to join the team, providing technical expertise across EBS HCM and contributing directly to the upcoming Fusion Cloud migration.
