Summary: The Oracle HCM Fast Formula Developer role is a long-term position focused on designing, developing, and supporting complex Oracle HCM Cloud Fast Formulas. The developer will work closely with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring high performance and integration with payroll and other HR functions. The position requires extensive experience in Oracle HCM technologies and a strong understanding of Fast Formula architecture. This role is 100% remote and requires a W2 employment arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document functional requirements and design complex Fast Formula solutions in collaboration with various HR and payroll teams.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Oracle HCM Fast Formulas across multiple formula types.
- Demonstrate expertise in Fast Formula language architecture, including contexts, database items, and nested logic structures.
- Develop complex Fast Formulas for payroll rules, adjustments, and calculations.
- Create reusable Fast Formula frameworks to minimize maintenance efforts.
- Support large-scale data conversion projects from various HR systems using HDL Transformation Fast Formulas.
- Develop HCM Extract Fast Formulas for outbound interfaces with various providers and systems.
- Create detailed documentation for Fast Formula implementations and conduct extensive testing.
- Support post go-live environments by troubleshooting and redesigning Fast Formulas as needed.
- Collaborate with Oracle Support for issue resolution and performance optimization.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud and Fast Formulas.
- Expertise in Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Compensation modules.
- Proficient in SQL, REST APIs, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, HSDL, BI Publisher, and OTBI.
- Strong understanding of Fast Formula language architecture and performance tuning.
- Ability to create Functional and Technical Design Documents.
- Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Oracle HCM environments.
