Summary: The role of Oracle Fusion P2P & Project Accounting (PPM) Functional Consultant involves providing functional expertise in Oracle Fusion applications, specifically in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Fusion Expenses, and Project Accounting. The consultant will engage in both hands-on functional work and testing activities, ensuring high-quality implementation and support for end-to-end business processes. Collaboration with business users and technical teams is essential for successful project execution. This position is full-time and remote, targeting senior-level professionals with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise across Oracle Fusion P2P, including Requisitions, Purchasing, Receiving, Payables, and Supplier management.
  • Support and configure Oracle Fusion Expenses, with strong understanding of Expenses to Project Costing (Expenses to PPM) flows.
  • Work closely with project teams on Project Accounting / Project Costing, ensuring correct capitalization, cost allocation, and accounting.
  • Conduct functional workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business users.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and assist in defining functional solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support and validate customizations, integrations, and configurations.
  • Lead and support SIT and UAT activities for P2P, Expenses, and Project Accounting modules.
  • Prepare QA and UAT test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
  • Assist business users during UAT execution, including test data preparation, issue triage, and retesting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Projects, Procurement, IT) to gather testing requirements and validate end-to-end business flows.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to analyze defects, validate fixes, and ensure functional accuracy.
  • Support production readiness, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Fusion Expenses, and Project Accounting (PPM). This role requires a balanced skill set with 50% hands-on functional work and 50% focus on testing, UAT/SIT execution, and user assistance.

The consultant will play a key role in supporting end-to-end business processes from requisition to payment, expenses to projects, and project costing, while working closely with business users, QA teams, and technical developers to ensure a high-quality implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities ( 50%)

  • Provide functional expertise across Oracle Fusion P2P, including Requisitions, Purchasing, Receiving, Payables, and Supplier management.
  • Support and configure Oracle Fusion Expenses, with strong understanding of Expenses to Project Costing (Expenses to PPM) flows.
