Summary: The Oracle Fusion Implementation Lead will oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR solutions. This role requires extensive experience in Oracle HCM Cloud and proven capabilities in managing end-to-end implementations. The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver effective HR technology solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations. The position is remote with occasional travel to DC or Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Core HR, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-production support.
- Conduct solution design workshops, capturing business needs and translating them into functional configurations.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions within Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Configure Core HR modules - including work structures, person management, employment, workforce structures, and security roles.
- Define and execute testing strategies (unit, SIT, UAT) and manage defect resolution.
- Partner with Data & Integration teams for data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with Change Management and Communications teams for smooth rollout and user adoption.
- Work with technical teams on integrations and reporting solutions.
- Maintain project documentation - design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, and test scripts.
- Support training material development and post-go-live support for HR and IT teams.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Core HR and mentor team members.
- Stay current on Oracle Cloud updates and recommend system/process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company standards.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM implementations.
- 3+ full-cycle projects as a Core HR Lead.
- Strong expertise in Oracle HCM configuration and Core HR module design.
- Deep understanding of Core HR and its integration with other modules (Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, HR Help Desk).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR business processes (hire-to-retire, position management, organizational structures).
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Oracle HCM Cloud Certification in Core HR preferred.
