Oracle Fusion Cloud Business Analyst Order Management & CPQ

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a critical Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation involving the migration of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Order Management functionality from JD Edwards (JDE) and a legacy order-entry application.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for someone who has participated in an Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation and can work independently with minimal ramp-up.

Requirements & Process Management

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, elicitation, documentation, validation, and traceability.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and SMEs.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and knowledge documentation using Visio or equivalent tools.
• Analyze complex and ambiguous requirements and translate them into clear business and functional requirements.
• Identify cross-functional dependencies and impacts associated with the migration from JDE and legacy applications.

Testing & Quality

• Develop and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans.
• Create test scenarios and test cases based on approved requirements.
• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
• Document, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Validate fixes against business and functional requirements.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Partner closely with business owners, Product Owners, SMEs, sales operations, and Order Management teams.
• Communicate requirements, process changes, dependencies, and project impacts effectively.
• Support change management activities related to the transition from legacy processes to Oracle Fusion Cloud workflows.
• Assist with training materials, end-user documentation, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role.
• Hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations.
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, traceability, and validation.
• Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Strong UAT leadership/support experience.
• Process modeling experience using Microsoft Visio or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation experience.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Order Management.
• Experience with Oracle CPQ or other CPQ platforms.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE).
• Experience migrating business processes from JDE or legacy order-entry applications to Oracle Fusion.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial equipment environments.
• Familiarity with sales operations and order-to-cash processes.
• Experience with change management and end-user training for ERP implementations.
