Summary: The Oracle Finance Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and enhancement of Oracle Financials Cloud solutions. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and compliant financial solutions. The consultant will also support various financial modules and ensure effective integration and performance of the systems. Travel to Chicago may be required on demand, despite the remote nature of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Oracle Financials Cloud modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Expense Management.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
  • Configure Oracle Finance Cloud modules to meet business needs.
  • Support end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles.
  • Perform functional testing (SIT/UAT) and support user acceptance.
  • Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.
  • Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Develop and support Oracle Cloud integrations using REST/SOAP web services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and FBDI / ADFdi.
  • Create and maintain BI Publisher reports, OTBI reports, and dashboards.
  • Support data migrations, conversions, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on extensions using Groovy, SQL, PL/SQL where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot performance, security, and data issues.
  • Manage quarterly Oracle Cloud updates and regression testing.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience with 5+ years in Oracle Finance Cloud.
  • Strong techno-functional expertise across Oracle Finance modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong understanding of US accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI.
  • Ability to work directly with US-based business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
