Summary: The Oracle FDI Developer role at Solve It Consultant involves designing, developing, and supporting Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) reporting and analytics solutions for a large-scale transformation programme across multiple government departments. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to create scalable dashboards and ensure data accuracy and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
  • Translate reporting requirements into scalable dashboards, analyses, and data visualisations.
  • Create and optimise FDI dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions.
  • Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose through data validation and testing.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve data quality issues.
  • Contribute to reporting governance, standards, and documentation.
  • Support project delivery phases including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

Oracle FDI Developer. Design, develop and support Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) reporting and analytics solutions that provide accurate, actionable insights to business users and support informed decision-making across the programme. The Synergy programme is to deliver a shared-services back-office HR, Finance and Payroll transformation as one solution to multiple government departments, modernising the employee experience for all 250,000 civil servant service users. The diverse user group spans from High-Court Judges to Flood defence workers, Prison officers to Customs Officials, Jobcentre staff to Veterinary workers. The scope includes transformation of all aspects of HR best practice, including performance management, knowledge and skills. Design, develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) to support business, operational and statutory reporting requirements. Work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads and reporting analysts to translate reporting requirements into scalable dashboards, analyses and data visualisations. Develop subject-area expertise across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM and EPM data models, ensuring reports align with agreed business processes and data definitions. Create and optimise FDI dashboards, KPIs, scorecards and self-service reporting solutions, applying reporting best practices and usability principles.

Mandatory Continued Support data validation, reconciliation and testing activities, ensuring reporting outputs are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose. Collaborate with technical and functional teams to investigate data quality issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable resolutions. Contribute to reporting governance, standards and documentation, including report catalogues, design specifications and user guidance materials. Provide support during project delivery phases including design, build, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment and hypercare, working within a large-scale Oracle Fusion transformation programme.
