Summary: The role is for an Oracle EBS professional who will work remotely, focusing on building solutions and providing technical support for Oracle EBS applications. The candidate will collaborate with senior team members and internal IT teams to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues. The position is a 12-month contract, specifically seeking local candidates from California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and table structures, APIs and Oracle coding standards.
- Build solutions including but not limited to, Oracle SQL scripts, PL/SQL Packages, Procedures & Functions, Forms, and Reports, BI/XML Publisher Reports, Business Intelligence Reports, Application Express Reports, OAF extensions, workflows, interfaces to extend Oracle EBS functionality based on user requirements by following Oracle recommended standards and adhering internally established development standards, change management processes.
- Takes directions from and works with senior members of the Oracle EBS & Application Team.
- Work with the Internal IT Team, SMEs and end users to understand the functional and technical requirements.
- Provide day-to-day Oracle EBS technical support to business customers, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
- Review requirement documents, create and maintain technical design and other required documents per the Standards and Processes.
- Demonstrate and continually develop solid working knowledge with the Oracle Applications architecture for Oracle R12, Database Server RDBMS: 19c, SQL, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Developer10g toolset (Forms and Reports), Linux, Oracle WF Builder, BI/XML Publisher, OA Framework and ADF toolsets, Business Intelligence, SOA and Oracle Apex.
- Written and verbal communication and presentation skills to gather or exchange information with internal and external customers on factual matters.
- Act as a backup for other IT team members in cross-trained functions as required.
- Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Oracle Techno/Functional Architect to support the E-Business Application.
Key Skills:
- Understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and table structures.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle coding standards.
- Experience with BI/XML Publisher, Application Express, and OAF extensions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle EBS issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle R12 and Database Server RDBMS: 19c.
- Knowledge of Developer10g toolset, Linux, and Oracle WF Builder.
- Experience as an Oracle Techno/Functional Architect.
