Summary: The Oracle EBS Fixed Assets Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, and support of the Oracle Ebusiness Suite 12.2.7 Fixed Assets module during an end-to-end ERP implementation. This role demands extensive functional expertise in Oracle Fixed Assets and its integration with other financial modules. The consultant will work remotely for a duration of 5 months, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for interacting with both business users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support the Oracle Ebusiness Suite 12.2.7 Fixed Assets module.
  • Ensure integration with other Oracle Financial modules such as Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing, and Oracle Projects.
  • Deliver multiple full lifecycle implementations or upgrades in Oracle EBS R12.
  • Manage asset lifecycle processes including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and retirement.
  • Handle mass additions, asset transfers, asset books, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in project environments.
  • Support multi-country rollouts and manage tax books and multi-ledger/multi-currency setups.
  • Assist in data migration/conversion for asset data into Oracle EBS.
  • Utilize data configuration tools as needed.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS experience, with 5 years in Oracle Fixed Assets.
  • Experience in full lifecycle implementations or upgrades in Oracle EBS R12.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Payables, General Ledger, and Projects modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with users and teams.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with multi-country rollouts and tax books.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing industries is a plus.

Role Brief:
Candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring and supporting the Oracle Ebusiness Suite 12.2.7 Fixed Assets module as part of an end-to-end Oracle EBS ERP Implementation.

This role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle FA and its integration with other oracle Financial modules such as Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing and Oracle Projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS experience, with at least 5 years specializing in Oracle Fixed Assets.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple full lifecycle implementations or upgrades in Oracle EBS R12, particularly version 12.2.x.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and retirement.
  • Experience with mass additions, asset transfers, asset books, and reporting tools (e.g., FA Register, FA Additions Report).
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Payables, General Ledger, and Projects modules and how they integrate with Fixed Assets.
  • Familiar with the FA Account Generator workflow and the typical journals involved in Asset accounting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams alike.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in fast-paced project environments.
  • Experience with multi-country rollouts, tax books, and multi-ledger/multi-currency setups.
