Oracle EBS Finance + Projects Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance + Projects Consultant with strong functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials and Project Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting and implementing finance and project-related business processes, managing integrations between financial and project modules, and providing functional solutions to complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support Oracle EBS Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Provide functional expertise in Oracle Projects, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting, and Project Management.
• Support end-to-end project financial processes, including project setup, budgeting, cost collection, expenditure processing, revenue generation, invoicing, and accounting.
• Integrate Oracle Projects with Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, and General Ledger.
• Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and prepare functional design documents and configuration specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Coordinate with technical teams on interfaces, reports, conversions, extensions, and customizations (RICEW).
• Participate in functional testing, SIT, UAT, deployment, documentation, and post-production support.
• Work closely with finance, project management, and business stakeholders to improve processes and ensure data accuracy and financial controls.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financials and Oracle Projects.
• Functional expertise in Oracle Projects modules, particularly Project Costing and Project Billing.
• Good understanding of Oracle GL, AP, AR, and their integration with project accounting processes.
• Experience with project expenditure processing, cost distribution, revenue generation, project invoicing, and accounting.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional configuration, testing, issue resolution, and production support.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with geographically distributed teams in a remote environment.
