Summary: The role of Oracle EBS Finance (Fixed Assets) Consultant involves supporting and enhancing Oracle Financials processes, specifically focusing on the Fixed Assets module. The consultant will lead functional design, configuration, and deployment while collaborating with technical teams to ensure alignment with business needs. This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site requirements in the UK. The role requires extensive experience with Oracle EBS Financials, particularly R12.2.6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBS 12.2.6 modules: Fixed Assets.
- Provide support for month-end and year-end close activities.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to Fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
- Help to develop and support the execution of test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with technical teams to support customisations, interfaces, data migrations and reporting requirements.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials, specifically R12.2.6.
- Strong functional expertise in: Fixed Assets (min 10 years of experience) - setting up and configuring the Fixed Assets module, including asset categories, depreciation rules, and tax books.
- Strong understanding of asset life cycle processes: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and retirement.
- Experience with mass additions, asset transfers, asset books, and reporting tools (eg, FA Register, FA Additions Report).
- Ability to produce high-quality functional design documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
