Summary: The Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Implementation Specialist will lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBS Inventory and Purchasing modules in a hybrid environment, which includes both on-premises and cloud instances. This role encompasses data migration, integration, training, and post-deployment support to ensure successful implementation and operation of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Oracle EBS Inventory and Purchasing modules in both Azure GovCloud and on-premises environments.
  • Assist with environment setup and software dependency installation.
  • Ensure successful deployment and validation of all required modules.
  • Configure roles, privileges, user interfaces, and workflows for each module.
  • Enable and support module integration (e.g., purchasing receipts updating inventory).
  • Configure and document Oracle EBS XML Gateway message services.
  • Coordinate access control setup including multifactor authentication.
  • Support configuration of backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Develop and implement database patches for initial dataset loads (e.g., parts, BOM routers).
  • Provide procedures for incremental data patching and reset processes.
  • Utilize ETL tools for accurate and efficient data migration.
  • Deliver training sessions for system administrators and end users on data loading, transaction workflows, and system administration.
  • Document XML Gateway configuration, access control, reporting, and example message services.
  • Create clear user and sysadmin guides.
  • Provide post-installation support for cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to functionality, integration, and security.
  • Apply bug fixes, security patches, and performance optimizations.
