Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the technical architecture for Oracle DB migration to Azure Exadata/ExaCS, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business and technical requirements into scalable migration architectures.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership in designing, validating, and optimizing Oracle DB configurations (RAC, DG, ASM, multitenancy).
  • Guide Migration Engineers on implementation best practices, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure integration with Azure services, security models, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and architecture validations throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Support sizing, capacity planning, and high availability strategies.
  • Maintain documentation of architecture decisions, technical standards, and migration patterns.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues during migration and post-migration phases.
