Summary: The Oracle DBA role focuses on managing Oracle databases, with a strong emphasis on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, and database performance tuning, particularly in Oracle RAC environments. The position requires extensive experience in database administration, upgrades, and application support. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager Suite, Grid Control tool, TOAD Tool/Oracle SQL Developer or comparable tools.
  • Experience as an Oracle database administrator.
  • Experience in using the full functionality of RMAN backup utility.
  • Experience in database performance tuning and application SQL tuning, with at least 3 years in Oracle RAC environment.
  • Experience and knowledge in supporting applications system development life cycle.
