Oracle DBA

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases across multiple environments.
• Perform database monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support Oracle database installations, upgrades, and patching.
• Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
• Monitor database performance and assist with SQL tuning.
• Manage users, roles, privileges, and database security.
• Support database refreshes, migrations, and cloning.
• Assist with Oracle Data Guard and disaster-recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot database availability and performance issues.
• Work with developers and infrastructure teams to resolve database problems.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Strong Oracle database administration experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with RMAN.
• Knowledge of Oracle backup/recovery.
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard is preferred.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
