Database Administrator with general DBA experience and Project Management skills Provide mid-level DBA support to Oracle, SQL Server.

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server architecture in different versions is a must.
  • Have solid and through approach to tuning very complex database problems with very high volumes.
  • Excellent automation skills.
  • Able to work well in large DBA team. Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server backup and recoveries.
  • Able to work well in a large DBA team with many members with various experience levels.
  • Ability to spend significant amount of time with application teams in helping them tune code running within databases.
  • Deep working knowledge of Oracle RAC and ASM, SQL Server Always On and Demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, & platforms.
  • Experience with Data Guard, OEM, Toad, AWR, RMAN & other DBA tools.
  • Ability to take full ownership of assigned projects.
  • Communicate with stake holders to assess Oracle databases and host decommission readiness and then schedule the decommission events.
