Summary: The role seeks an Oracle DB expert to support an existing team in a development project within the MES/MOM environment, leading up to the Go-Live of a system landscape. The position involves close collaboration with the DevOps team to address challenges and ensure a successful rollout. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining software stability from a database perspective and performing various database-related tasks. The position is fully remote and requires proficiency in both Oracle DB and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a globally feasible rollout from development to Go-Live in the MES production environment
• Guarantee secure and stable operation of the software from a database perspective
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team
• Review DB scripts regarding application content
• Conduct error analysis (e.g., long-running queries, execution plans, exceptions)
• Deploy database increments according to application increments in various environments
• Perform maintenance tasks (e.g., Chronos, updates, fixes)

Key Skills:

• More than 4 years of project experience
• Experience as an interface to application development teams
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB as a database developer (DB design in application context)
• Experience in the DevOps area and collaboration with DevOps teams
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Production-related project experience desirable (e.g., plant-related, MES, MOM, warehouse management systems)
• Experience with agile projects and methodologies
