Summary: Infinite Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join their team. The role requires extensive expertise in Oracle Database administration, data modeling, and project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting and a proven track record in managing complex database systems. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Oracle Database & Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) Administration.
  • Engage in data modeling, both logical and physical.
  • Develop multidimensional data models, including star schemas and snowflakes.
  • Utilize ITIL and SDLC methodologies in project management.
  • Collect business requirements and transform them into database processes and schemas.

Key Skills:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Machine Learning.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Oracle Database & ODA Administration.
  • Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling.
  • Five (5) years of experience with ITIL and SDLC methodologies.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems.

Infinite Solutions Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of a Oracle Database Administrator

Mandatory skills

  1. Must possess at least ten (10) years of expertise, performing and progressively responsible experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics or Machine Learning, during which both professional and management capabilities.
  2. Must possess at least five (5) years of expertise, performing Oracle Database & Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) Administration, as well as data modeling, both logical and physical.
  3. Must have extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, normalized and denormalized models, handling slow-changing dimensions/attributes.
  4. Must have at least five (5) or more years of experience using project management Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  5. Must possess at least five (5) or more years experience with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) systems; extensive experience for collecting business requirements from customers and transform the requirements into DB data processes and data schema.
