Summary: The Oracle CPQ Techno-Functional Consultant role involves designing and implementing product catalogs within Oracle CPQ, serving as a bridge between technical configuration and business process design. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle CPQ product catalog and pricing structures
- Work with business stakeholders to gather product configuration requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs
- Develop, configure, and test CPQ rules, workflows, UI changes, document templates, and integrations as needed
- Design and implement best-practice catalog hierarchies and guided selling flows
- Collaborate with internal ERP, sales ops, and product teams to ensure seamless data alignment and process integration
- Provide training, documentation, and post-deployment support to ensure adoption and stability
Key Skills:
- 2-3+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ implementation with a focus on catalog setup and product configuration
- Strong techno-functional skill set - comfortable writing and reviewing BML, XSL, and working with APIs and integrations
- Proven experience designing and implementing guided selling flows and complex product rules
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion or EBS) and how CPQ integrates with order management and pricing
- Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders
