Oracle CPQ Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solution Design: Lead end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle CPQ BigMachines solutions, establishing data models, rule structures, and integration patterns aligned with enterprise requirements.
• Configuration & Customization: Direct and implement advanced product configurations, pricing rules, constraint rules, commerce processes, BML (BigMachines Extensible Language), and custom layouts.
• System Integration: Design and oversee robust integrations between Oracle CPQ and downstream systems, including CRM (Salesforce/Oracle CX) and ERP platforms (Oracle EBS, Cloud ERP, SAP).
• Document & Workflow Automation: Architect dynamic document generation templates (BML-driven PDFs/Word documents) and complex approval workflows to streamline sales ops.
• Technical Leadership & Governance: Establish development standards, conduct code/design reviews, optimize performance, and mentor CPQ developers and configurators.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and sales operation teams to translate complex pricing strategies and business logic into efficient CPQ implementations.

Qualifications & Key Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of experience implementing and architecting Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) solutions.
• Certifications: Oracle CPQ Cloud Implementation Developer / Architect Certification strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in BML, BMQL, JavaScript/CSS, REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, and Oracle CPQ Data Tables.
• Integration Expertise: Proven track record of integrating CPQ with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, or major ERP solutions.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
