Summary: The Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Consultant role involves leveraging expertise in Oracle Commerce Cloud to design and build dynamic storefronts and integrations for implementation projects. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide ongoing technical support. The consultant will also be responsible for extending functionalities and ensuring the successful integration of third-party systems. This is a remote position based in Saint Louis, MO, with a duration of over one year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize Oracle Commerce Cloud storefronts, catalogs, and widgets.
  • Extend Oracle Commerce Cloud functionalities to fulfill project and client-specific requirements.
  • Develop integrations using SSE with third-party systems including payment gateways, ERP, and CRM systems via APIs and web services.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance for Oracle Commerce Cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and participate in planning and estimation for Oracle Commerce Cloud projects.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Commerce Cloud architecture, implementation, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in development, configuration, testing, and documentation of Commerce solutions, including at least one Oracle Commerce Cloud project.
  • Proficiency in React JS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as Knockout.js, React.js, Express.js, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience working with Oracle Commerce Cloud (formerly Oracle Commerce Platform), including Web Services and REST APIs.
  • Proficient in using version control tools such as GitHub.

Job Purpose:
