Summary: The Oracle Cloud Technical Writer will play a crucial role in the client's Oracle Cloud transformation by creating high-quality documentation, user guides, and technical materials for Oracle Cloud Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Financials. This position requires extensive experience in documenting integrations and technical configurations, ensuring that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand the materials produced. The role involves collaboration with various teams to translate complex processes into user-friendly documentation and establish documentation standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud technologies and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain integration guides, API documentation, user manuals, and system configuration documents for Oracle Cloud Procurement, SCM, and Financials.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and functional teams to translate technical processes, integration workflows, and system interactions into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Establish and enforce documentation standards, style guides, and templates, ensuring consistency across all technical materials.
- Develop training materials, quick-reference guides, and FAQs to assist end-users and IT teams in understanding Oracle Cloud integrations and best practices.
- Partner with business analysts, solution architects, and developers to gather requirements, document functional & technical designs, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience documenting Oracle Cloud Procurement, SCM, and Financials, including integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OCI, and APIs.
- Proven ability to create structured, detailed, and visually engaging documentation tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with OIC, VBCS, Oracle APIs, and Web Services (REST/SOAP) to effectively document technical configurations and integration workflows.
- Experience collaborating with teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies, participating in sprint reviews, and updating documentation dynamically.
- Ability to interview SMEs, gather technical insights, and convert complex concepts into easily understandable documentation.
