Job Title - Senior Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Lead

Duration: 6+ Months

Work Model: Partial Remote

Travel: Approximately 30% to 40% — travel expenses paid

The Client is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Lead with strong hands-on experience implementing Oracle Cloud Payroll. The ideal candidate will have lead-level experience managing full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations, from requirements and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

The candidate should be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and client teams and translating business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.
• Gather and analyze payroll business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Perform hands-on Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration and design.
• Lead functional design discussions and provide recommendations based on Oracle best practices.
• Develop and execute functional test scenarios, SIT/UAT, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Work directly with business users, client stakeholders, and project leadership.
• Support data validation, integrations, reporting, and payroll-related processes as required.
• Provide functional leadership throughout implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Mentor other functional team members and drive delivery of Payroll workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll.
• Proven lead-level experience on full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.
• Strong experience with configuration, functional design, testing, and issue resolution.
• Experience working directly with business/client stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Payroll business processes and functional capabilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30-40%.

• Techno-functional Oracle Payroll experience.
• Experience working with Oracle Payroll integrations and technical teams.
• Experience with complex enterprise payroll implementations.
