Oracle Cloud Financial – Lead Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Financial Lead Consultant to lead mid-to-large, complex Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and provide strategic consulting to clients.

The consultant should have strong functional expertise across multiple Oracle Cloud Financial modules and a proven track record of 3+ end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex Oracle Cloud Financials consulting projects.
• Gather and document business requirements through workshops and fit-gap analysis.
• Design, configure, test, and implement Oracle Cloud Financial solutions.
• Lead CRPs, UAT, go-live preparation, cutover, and post-production support.
• Develop functional specifications, unit test scripts, and solution documentation.
• Analyze existing systems/data and identify process or system enhancements.
• Resolve implementation and integration challenges using Oracle best practices.
• Work with Oracle Support to resolve service requests.
• Serve as the primary client point of contact and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Provide strategic technology and process improvement recommendations.
• Lead and mentor junior/mid-level consultants.
• Monitor implemented solutions and recommend optimization opportunities.

Required Oracle Cloud Financial Modules: Experience with one or more:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Fixed Assets
• Accounting Hub
• Advanced Collections & Credits
• Cash Management
• Expenses

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
• 3+ years implementing/supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades.
• 3+ end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
• Strong financial/accounting functional knowledge.
• Experience with Chart of Accounts redesign, financial reporting, Multi-Org, and Multi-Currency.
• Strong fit-gap analysis, business process design, CRP, configuration, and testing experience.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage client expectations and complex requirements.
• Experience writing functional specifications.
• Strong consulting/business analytical skills.
• Professional services or strategic industry consulting experience preferred.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
