Summary: The Oracle Application Developer (VBCS) role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) for a leading IT services supplier. This fully remote position is open to candidates across the UK and is a temporary contract lasting over six months. The developer will work closely with stakeholders to create user-friendly applications that integrate with Oracle Cloud services. Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud and hands-on development skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop custom applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) for Oracle PaaS
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using VBCS
  • Integrate custom applications with Oracle Cloud services (Oracle ERP, HCM, Payroll, Procurement and SCM modules)
  • Develop application logic, workflows and business rules within the Oracle PaaS environment
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of applications
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, configurations and solutions

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Oracle PaaS Developer with a focus on Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS)
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Platform and its services

  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks

Oracle Application Developer (VBCS)

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Oracle PaaS VBCS Developer.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates located anywhere within the UK.

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP

Day rate: Competitive Market rate

This role requires expertise in Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) to design, develop and deploy modern wed and mobile applications that extend Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM etc) The role requires hands-on development skills, knowledge in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and experience in building scalable, secure and user friendly solutions.
