Summary: The Operations Manager for IT Disaster Recovery will lead the global delivery and continuous improvement of the disaster recovery strategy for over 100 enterprise and manufacturing applications. This role involves managing program governance, ensuring rigorous testing, and aligning with business continuity and compliance standards. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain operational continuity across the enterprise. The role is remote and focuses on enhancing the resiliency of the client's global IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end DR program delivery across critical enterprise and manufacturing systems.
  • Coordinate DR planning and execution with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Establish and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and executive-level reporting to ensure visibility into DR posture.
  • Own the DR lifecycle, including assessment, planning, testing, issue management, and post-test retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure DR readiness for applications spanning both Azure cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Collaborate closely with application teams, application owners, business leaders, and compliance partners.
  • Align DR planning with global business continuity objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and planning with executive leadership on DR program progress and risk posture.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in IT program or project management, with a focus on disaster recovery or business continuity planning.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, MES, PLM) and their recovery dependencies.
  • Experience managing DR programs across Azure and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Strong organizational and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global, fast-paced, and agile environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, high-tech, or regulated industries (preferred).
  • Certifications in DR, BCP, or project management are a plus (preferred).

Join Client s Global Information Systems (GIS) team as a Disaster Recovery (DR) Manager. In this critical role,

you will oversee global delivery and continuous improvement of client s DR readiness strategy across a hybrid landscape of over 100 enterprise and manufacturing applications. This includes systems such as [SAP, PLM, Teamcenter, Opcenter, and ASRS] across Azure and on-premise workloads.
