Summary: The Operational Resilience Consultant will focus on assessing and developing the strategic direction of a global firm's Operational Resilience and Disaster Recovery function. The role requires extensive experience in Operational Resilience, particularly in a consulting or transformation context, and involves producing and presenting strategic reports. This consultancy engagement is initially for 30 days over 2 months, with potential for extension. The position is remote with two planned site visits in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop strategic direction for Operational Resilience and Disaster Recovery function.
- Conduct assessments of Operational Resilience maturity in real-world contexts.
- Validate strategy, policy, and governance assumptions for operating companies or franchises.
- Produce and present Operational Resilience Strategy and roadmap reports.
- Collaborate with a wider team to deliver work to specifications.
Key Skills:
- Broad and deep Operational Resilience experience, ideally in consulting or transformation.
- Strong consultancy skills: discover, assess, prioritise, advise.
- Ability to assess strategic Operational Resilience maturity.
- Strong process and governance knowledge in Operational Resilience.
- Familiarity with modern IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) is desirable.
- Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) resilience is a plus.
- Experience in Enterprise Operational Resilience, with international exposure preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to deliver work independently.
